Operator: GRAND EST TOUT TRAJET. Yahop is the private hire (VTC) booking service operated by Grand Est Tout Trajet, licensed in accordance with French Law No. 2014-1104 of 1 October 2014 on taxis and private hire vehicles.
These Terms of Use govern the use of the website ya-hop.fr and the Yahop mobile application (hereinafter "the Platform"). By using the Platform, you accept these terms without reservation.
Using the service requires creating an account. Users agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. Two types of accounts exist: Passenger and VTC Driver. Drivers must provide a valid professional VTC card and are subject to validation by the Yahop team.
The passenger selects pickup and drop-off addresses, vehicle type and desired options. An estimated price is displayed before confirmation, calculated based on the actual trip distance, vehicle type and applicable surcharges. The displayed price is the final price, unless the route is modified by the passenger during the ride.
Payment is made by credit card via the secure Stripe platform or in cash directly to the driver. For scheduled rides paid by card, an amount is pre-authorised and charged at the end of the ride. Bank details are never stored on our servers.
Cancellation is free as long as no driver has accepted the ride. Once a ride is accepted, cancellation fees may apply. If the driver cancels, a new driver is automatically searched for.
Yahop acts as an intermediary platform. VTC drivers are independent professionals holding their own professional liability insurance. Yahop cannot be held responsible for delays due to traffic, weather conditions or any force majeure event.
After each ride, the passenger can rate the driver (1 to 5 stars) and leave a comment. These reviews are used to maintain service quality.
In case of a dispute, contact our support team. We commit to processing any complaint within 15 business days. In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may use a free mediation service. contact@ya-hop.fr
We collect the following data: name, email address, phone number, geolocation data (during rides), ride history, and payment data (processed by Stripe, never stored by us).
Your data is used for: account management, connecting you with drivers, processing payments, sending confirmations and receipts, and improving the service.
Processing is based on contract performance (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR) and your consent (Article 6.1.a) for marketing communications.
Account data is retained for the duration of your registration and 3 years after your last activity. Payment data is retained in accordance with legal obligations (10 years for accounting records).

The website uses technical cookies necessary for the operation of the service (authentication, language preferences). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
